What was your character like as a child,since it must have been hard growing up as a shapeshifter. Like when reminiscing, what is the first thing that would come to mind?
Actually, Gleam’s beginning is a bit different. She was born/created as a little wisp - a living air elemental spirit. She had to learn how to create and manipulate water as her second element when she grew older, and how to shape shift as well. Her childhood was constantly learning about the world around her, and learning who she was as a person deep inside.
As a shapeshifter and spirit, she does struggle with identity and belonging, so she settled on being a human for a while. Growing up with her little sister in a set form, a girl with blue hair and eyes, she took on the idea that she was a witch in training with nymph-like abilities.
When reminiscing, I suppose she thought of her training days and being so naive and curious.. getting into trouble with her guardian/mentor. It was the only time when she settled before taking off to explore worlds under disguise.
